Worked with the very talented band Gold Fever to create their logo inspired by classic sign writing and black letter typefaces. 6 logos were created for the band, in varying elements, in order to be as versatile as possible but also stay in keeping with one another.
Project that aimed to visualise pointless in a physical object. The project resulted in creating 3 ceramic tea pots that are based on core principles of politeness, creating packaging for those tea pots and a fake mock up ceramic exhibition hosted at the V&A that they would exist within.
A collaborative brief that crossed over my university topic of Politeness and mixed it with Costal Wrecking. This resulted in creating two sets of posters around respecting the coastline / holiday destination and coastal littering.
This project was a collaborative project between myself and the designer Aggie Wildgoose where we created two sister publications based around the experiences of key workers and their interactions with the public.
Publication that explores politeness, ways to visualise social interactions and the use of politeness in England throughout history. Using edited paintings from the 18th century, regarded as the politest century, as visuals and relate to the chapter topics. Each chapter ending with a personal account of how politeness has backfired.
Worked with the fantastic Bristol based band The New Cut to create their outward facing logo brand. It was a pleasure working with them on this to create a bold typographic logo and a few other assets.
This was a whole brand build from the ground up. it included several logo designs, product photography and website design.
As part of the politeness project in my final year of university, I created a simple set of motion Gifs that presented polite actions a simple style and was the foundation for the Politeness Is Key project.
2nd place prize for Black Penguin Gin design competition hosted by Bunker Creative. I had to create a gin bottle design that incorporated their design values and appreciation for their clients, for the flavour lemon and blue berry.
Type design project revolving around how to make a polite typeface that could be used for an apology letter, with a focus of clarity/inclusivity and subtlety. Though the serif typeface was more appropriate, these were the two that were create.
The Life of wood publication was part of an ISTD brief, and I selected to explore the UN suitability goal of land-based sustainability. This resulted in talking to and working with my local Forestry England branch and the Bristol wood recycling project to create a publication that follows the life of wood from planting and caring to sustainable felling and recycling.
As part of a group project, working with the very talented designers Madeleine Flowers and Laura Bunt, we created a brand called ‘LAMAJA’ and produced a full mock up branding project for Bruce Hornsby’s The Way It Is ‘. this included posters, merchandise and a music video, all developed over the course of a few weeks.
Short stop motion animation titled ‘There Be Monsters’, created from cuttings from a ‘A Beginners guid to celestial navigation’ and arranged in a collage to create a simple narrative. project included stop motion and foley work and was a great opportunity to try physical based animation.
Out there was a two-part brief as part of my university that revolved around reaching out to professionals and creating a collaborative outcome. working as part of group we interviewed the food and chef Sassy Foodie and created a short, animated piece about how they got where they are today.
